I really wanted to enjoy this game. Unfortunately it's just too frustrating. I started a list of problems but it's too long for this comment field. I don't really mind the locked content but why would you omit monster descriptions and then make upgrade choices permanent? Since most trophies are earned with specific monster types, it's very easy to get stuck with no evolution points (spend your points on your castle and you can't afford new monster types, etc.). The graphics, level design, and overall polish are great. Just seems strategically stunted.
Decent tower defense game. A few small UI complaints: Players cannot see tower stats before buying and placing a tower. Upon clicking a tower, you cannot select a different tower type without canceling and *then* clicking. Overall it's fun and a good way to kill time during a conference call.
I don't understand the design decision to make the user stare at the mini-map. Currently it feels like the camera is zoomed in much too far. I do like hearing the first 20 seconds of that song over and over (and over).
I think this game has a memory leak. It took forever but I beat the high score! Managed to take a screenshot before firefox crashed: http://imgur.com/O5G8n.png
Constructed very well, just as the original. It tries to do too much with the mouse-slash mechanic for my taste. The battles feel cluttered and have lost the elegant feel that was so much fun.
Well done game. I enjoyed it more than the original. There seems to be a problem using the homing rocket launcher and the homing missile secondary weapon together. Half the rockets spin away from any targets.
Overall it feels more like a proof-of-concept rather than an actual game. That said, it's unique and creative and made me smile. Well done and please hurry with the next one. :)
I love it when enemies drop the same mediocre shit the entire game! Also, congratulations on not giving in to the people who only want a "new and interesting" gaming experience! Clickity click click click click!
I save up five thousand gold for a super-awesome comet attack. After waiting for the damn thing to charge up I finally get to fire it and... it passes right through the enemy castle. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot
