Problems: 1. Very difficult/awkward to place soldiers 2. Menu system is a travesty (clicking Main Menu immediately exits game, navigation is very difficult) 3. Would be much easier to be able to see item stats before you can afford them (how do you know if you should save up or not?) 4. Would be nice to see a soldier's range 5. The map view seems too close to the ground. Complaints aside, the game premise is very good and you have a great number of upgrade options. Fix the punishing interface and release it as an updated version. Good luck, sir.
Five moderately interesting puzzles stretched out over twenty-six levels. Level 25 is especially offensive because you cannot see your cursor but the paddles stop responding if the cursor moves out of the flash window. With any luck, the developers will embrace their passion for dance and relieve us the heavy burden of a sequel.
Decent game and a good start for something further. Side note: Seems more like sniping than hunting. I've always thought of hunting as searching and tracking prey not just sitting and firing on anything unfortunate enough to walk by.
On about the fourth level the king slides out of place and into a catapult, which causes the player to lose. Very annoying, I hope it's not intentional.
A few distracting bugs but overall a decent game. The scarcity of supplies adds to the survivalist tone. Fix the bugs and you'll have a respectable game here.
While this game has a lot going for it, it's essentially a bullshit-endurance test. You must make hundreds of jumps, yet each jump lowers your stamina. The problem here is that stamina takes an absurd amount of time to regenerate. Even worse, if you switch to another window to occupy yourself whilst regenerating, you return to find that the game pauses unless the flash window has focus! I don't understand how a team gets so much right in a game but leaves terrible annoyances like this.
I bought the full version of this game and played through it entirely three times. It's an excellent production, though it's a shame the game window is too small here.
Seems like it could be okay but the interface is terrible. You can't click on the tower types but have to drag the cursor over icon? Since the enemies enter *immediately* I found it very frustrating to try to select and place a tower before the first wave was halfway to the base. Meh.
Often very difficult to select towers for upgrading. It would be nice to have the option to clear map obstructions (what the point of a curve in the map if you can't build inside it?). Not too bad but overall frustrating.
An interesting take on the swap-3 genre. Would be nice to have a bit more instruction because it seems like there's a lot going on but I couldn't really tell what it was. Also, the "suddenly stop all deadly stupid glitch" is apparently still happening as of 5/20 8am eastern.
Dogfighting with a fighter jet while riding on the back of a giant sperm - THIS is pinnacle of human achievement. Sir, I find your ideas intriguing and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
