Check the game log to see if Chi-Reflect missed. It is probable that Andromeda had the zon feather equipped as an item, though. That means Light Arrow fires at speed 9.
5/5 for the genre. Not too difficult, not too easy. The artwork is fantastic. I'm playing on a muted computer. If there is a storyline, I can project some of it due to the artistic content. :) Adding a timer for those who want a higher degree of competition with their peers would be simple, although I would not want to compete with those faster than I am. A save feature would be handy, continue saved game or start a new one.
Decent gameplay for the genre, but it isn't one of my fav genres. The artwork is better than average. Nothing historical, strategic, or very interesting to the gameplay, though.
Transition to challenge 3 ... stuck. I also lost atleast half the time clicking on what is or should be prime "parts". What exactly am "I" that a bee can kill me? ;) As a combat concept ... 3/5. As a game? Um ... how about defining this as a part of a game, the potential to be a game?
2/5 for the art, but you know that. 4/5 for the gameplay, which *I* find fantastic AND educational. Call me a nerd. I suppose epilepsy and lupus will have to wait for Med School 2 ... Where's blood work and oxygen sensors and MRI results?
The "spend another quarter" concept is what makes some retro NOT fun. The manner in which arcades got folks to spend another quarter was to make the games so difficult that many folks would lose after a certain time. While there is no need to spend so much as ONE quarter with Galaxy Damnation, if there are any new concepts, they are further into the game than I care to explore.
Perhaps a practice firing range, complete with hills and obstacles for those wanting to learn or improve?
I caught on to the gameplay, but there is a learning curve.
I also dislike the spells that can only be unlocked on armorgames.com. I've been there, played other games there, may or may not return to play this one there, partly because I've beaten Gemcraft there twice but am having difficulty beating it here due to no armor on the super boss levels. :P
