Seems like a good game, based on a good concept, and executed pretty well. I seriously don't think the mouse was a good idea here, because it gives you so little control over the direction of your trail. Arrow keys would be more like the classic, first of all, and would allow the user more control, that leads to less frustration. Also, it's always annoying when the mouse goes off the stage.
I don't like how it just starts the next wave right away, with no user input into that process. Also, you might want to put a description of how scoring works in the instructions, because I was confused by that. You base it off of time, somehow?
Seems fun, but I couldn't do intermediate after getting over 100 on beginner. Maybe you have to submit in order to be able to play intermediate? That doesn't make much sense. Still, good game!
Decent at best. You really need to try to fix the bugs! The collisions aren't accurate, and when you destroy an asteroid, it just appears as two new pieces that are really separated. Also, the "click to continue" button is annoying to use. Considering you use the keyboard to do everything else, clicking to do such a simple action as getting another life doesn't make much sense.
This hardly qualifies as a beta. A beta implies that it has complete basic functionality, but maybe needs some polish. Most of this game's basic functions, except movement, seem lacking to me. And even movement's buggy. I'd be much more open to seeing something that took time to do.
Great graphics and physics, but slightly confusing gameplay. The tutorial didn't make it clear where the exit was, nor how to score, and I was really lost at first.
Seems very similar to a game I've played before, which isn't necessarily a bad thing; there's a lot of potential. In this case, you could have lives, a save, some music/sound effects, and then you would have a good game. But otherwise, it's good.
Could you elaborate, please, outrightchaos? You only get awarded points for completely destroying an orb, meaning that you take it down to its lowest level and hit it once more.
I just found a glitch on the first level, where I had gotten a lot of air and was facing nose-down, then activated traction, and I went through the ground.
I agree, Kain. I've now realized how easy it is to get insanely high scores, but in the interest of keeping scores fair, I'll keep that particular update for the next version of this game.
Every time I died, it's because I just scored and the paddle moved around without me while I was trying to get to the center. Keep the paddle in the same place!
