There's still a few glitches, too. One, I could easily get objects stuck offscreen. Two, you have to click again to release the person, which doesn't make much sense. Also, the scores seem arbitrary, and you should be able to turn off the sound effects.
Keyboard and mouse it a bad idea. If you made the player into a turret and had the enemies come towards you in waves according to location on the keyboard, it might work better (and be a lot more fun).
I played this when I saw it on Jay is Games, and it was really fun. I notice a few things you've changed in this version, which is good. One problem I found is that I went to the top of the screen, and got stuck there. Not sure if this happens every time, but it's a major glitch.
A good, solid first game! It's fun to steal them from the other spider just before he gets to it. The one major problem I notice, though, is when the flies start out close to the edge, because I'll often move my mouse outside the game. You might want to make a small area, maybe 10 or 20 pixels wide, that they can't spawn in, around the edge. Also, a pause button/back to menu button is always nice. 3/5
The game will occasionally pause without warning, and even if you can move, you can't hit any buildings. If you could make it more obvious, it would be seen as less of a "bug". Sure seemed that way at first.
