I agree; it would be nice if it were more accurate and if it had slightly better graphics for the main game. I like the menus though! The slight transparency is pretty cool.
The normal mode is pretty good! The only major problem I can see is with your "Right click to do everything" idea. If you die, it's not immediately obvious that you have to right click to go back to the menu. Actual buttons are your friend!
Interesting concept! I have a few suggestions, though.
The main one would be consistency in the graphics. On the main menu, you have big blocks of color, nicely framing the choices. But on the instructions, you've just got a plain white background with the text near the top. Then in the game, you've got a different background for each mode, and they're both a bit distracting. _Stick with one style_. I'd recommend that everything is more like the menu, simple and easy to use.
The gameplay is a bit off as well. A pause button and some music would be nice, and you shouldn't be able to go off the top of the screen and onto the bottom.
Overall, not bad!
Very well done! The graphics are great, very polished. My only complaint is that the paddles could have smoother bounces, the ball seemed to cover the paddle at times, rather than just bouncing off the surface.
This game could be done well. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The instructions could have been much simpler, graphics better, gameplay more in depth... By the way, controls for the bomb and lazer are 'X' and 'Z', respectively.
Wish you could save each level, rather than having to start over some number of levels before. Figured out a good strategy for #10 though, it involves sacrificing one of your lives.
I had the same problems as William. You should reset the angle after each level (not that hard...) and add some more interaction, like better physics, or health upgrades.
