and Finally I can't really comment on last stand since I still have absolutely no idea what it actually does, but it's either useless or very good I think
And now for the defensive talents. Master of Fresh, I have 22k HP with 0 points in it, and ~50% damage reduction, +10 HP is useless for me, along with me always gaining more levels further increasing my HP. Fortitude, is just master of fresh, but only works on bosses, and 5x cost, how is this useful?
The first tree was ehh on balance, all 4 of them can kind of be of use, but all of them are also not great. So next we have the nature talents where things really start to look bad. These ones are the same level of boost, but for different nature boosts. as such, since lightning has a lower base chance, the lightning bonus is objectively better than the poison bonus, and poison also has other sources, as well as a lower base damage bonus. Similarly since poison has a lower base damage bonus than lightning, even with all other upgrades, the poison damage boost is better than the lightning damage boost (until you tie their damages) the part where this truly breaks is when you reach 100% poison chance (or lightning chance) and these damage bonuses are vastly superior to the other damage boosting talents.
Talents are so unbalanced, lets look through them :)
Veteran is the base we're looking at for the damage tree, 1 point for 3 damage. firstly, it's a flat bonus, and since we can't prestige anymore we will be gaining levels meaning that this gets worse the more points we have, even if we were not spending the points.
Precision is interesting, 0.01% CC for 1 point and 0.05% CD for 1 point, this ones value depends on your CC and CD outside of it, but is pretty much just worse than veteran (when your stats are low, veteran is a better boost, when they're higher, veteran is a less small boost)
Sharp and deadly is 0.06% CD for 1 point, which basically means that you should almost always pick precision instead.
Arrow to the knee is the first perk that gets better the more stats you have, so it's technically the best of this tree for last/end game, but only beats out veteran for damage per point once you've broken 30k damage, kind of acceptable?
Should probably change talents so that none of them are flat bonuses (master of fresh and fortitude specifically) to stop them from being power crept/just worthless because of levels. fortitude in particular is just useless because of master of fresh existing
last stand says it increases last stand damage by 1%, has the icon of lone wolf, and sounds like it's related to unleash the beast, what does it actually do
https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fimgur.com%2FHkCEm3t those white letters are hard to read on their own, should add a pixel or 2 of black border to make them easier to read
Ranged enemies will give a better use for defensive play, currently, I could have 1 HP 0 damage resist and not change my plans at all. Masteries already falling behind, lacking a mastery for the lamp currently. Skill Tree is quite shallow, hopefully, it gets bigger so we're not just dumping all out point into masteries. Still needs a bunch of QoL and balancing stuff as well.
Should change the windows stacking so that the last one I clicked to open is on the top, instead of having multiple open windows always being in a set order. Example click mastery then aspect and have aspect window be visible would be nice
I'm thinking about new ascension system. Until then I might add reset functions to trees.
