We are seeing what we can do to add features to the app... such as speed mods, keyremapping, combo/pa masking, low quality, etc. Basically... to have the features of the main game, just with the widget skin and less songs.
Difficulties of the "Guru" levels on the widget... Zodiac is a 6, Play It Funky is a 6, Hungarian Dance 5 is a 7, The Wanderer is an 8. 12s are the hardest files.
So you guys know... passing is not an accomplishment. Passing songs is piss easy. Comboing them is the important thing... and comboing with good accuracy is the most important. So, if you say it is too easy just because you can pass it... you're oversimplifying the game. The skill is in the accuracy, not passing.
Thanks guys for the positives... We're contemplating putting the full version of FFR up, for a short period of time, just to shoot down the haters... but who knows if/when we'll actually do that.
Also, if you're curious... my all-time scores are the max possible on 9/10 of the songs. I have 1 good on The Wanderer here, which is 275 points off the max.
The lag, if there is some, isn't our fault... it's Kong's for either sending/receiving data through the chat OR from the ads. Not sure which, but one of those is the causes. Nothing we can do about that.
Eragon: they aren't meant to be insanely hard... SCGMD levels aren't nearly as hard as expert GH charts either. It's meant to allow anyone to play, and for the "guru" levels to be hard for the casual gamer.
Also... who the hell tagged it as stolen. LOL. Removed that tag.
The full version of our game, complete with statistics, is multiple GIGABYTES large. We have over 650 levels, each with an mp3. Each level is over 1MB in size, many are larger. Not to mention all the xml and other stuff that is intertwined with the backend of our system. It is completely unrealistic to think that we could upload a version even close to our full version.
Smasher... so you can jump and land on a platform... do you want a treat? Over simplification of games is not cool. The point is to hit the arrows in time to the music, which is why it is a rhythm game. If the arrows were random, you would have a point. But they are not. In addition, it could open you up to new music and improve your hand-eye coordination.
Actually, our site has 1,500,000+ members. I merely posted a thread about it on our forums. Instead of on the front page of the site. And, it isn't dishonest at all. We have a loyal fanbase. They are allowed to know about it. This is actually a rare thing... we haven't had a version of FFR outside of our site since early 2003.
Dark: clearly you did not try all the levels. There is 1 Dance, 1 Arcade remix, 1 hip hop, 1 pop, 1 IDM, 1 vocal, 1 ethnic/tribal, 1 classical, 1 funk, and 1 epic metal song. 10 different genres of music, which was the goal. Variety.
it's the same damn game is before... i don't get what's new or different or why there needs to be an "anniversary edition". it isn't that great of a game in the first place, and there seriously is so little changed in this version.
This is still horribly off-sync, at least the 1 level I played. Not to mention, whoever is doing your stepfiles is god-awful.
The game has marginally good background graphics. But the gameplay itself is atrocious. And I say this as an admin on FFR for over 4 years... I know what I'm talking about. You have a lot of work to do before this is decent.
