It gets quite intensive when THEY appear, and even more so when HE appears. HIS charges don't even seem deterministic, making a memorized positioning futile. HIS hitbox is huge and HE is hard to avoid. I can't say I like HIM. I liked the rest of the game, for which I would probably give 4/5, and even the finale wouldn't normally ruin it ...

Simple, fun, and short enough not to get tedious :) Anyway, it amused me how fast the pirate moves inside a crate, and how good flyer he is. Too bad for the real pirates that they used ships and not crates.

Physics as a science is underappreciated. As a game genre I find it overrated. I only finished it for the badge. It wasn't hard, it didn't take long either, I just didn't enjoy it much.

Several different concepts combined in this game. That doesn't feel bad at all, what I didn't like is that a better part of the game felt like a tutorial, making it rather long than hard. There were some nice puzzles though. 4/5

Since the light mode didn't add almost any content except for some sneak peeks in level 10, I think it is essentially not worth it. The good thing is, it is no longer needed for the Kong badge. The bad thing is, it is still there, luring you to waste time playing the same game once again.

Not sure if the extra levels are any harder, but there wasn't much challenge in this set of levels. That's why I can rate it 4/5 at best, which i did.

I love difficult puzzles. Not sure why I liked this one then :D For me, it wasn't really hard, but it already required some thinking for which I'm grateful. The platformer part was interesting, with some levels being a bit of a challenge, most were just puzzles. The only no-brainer thing here is the 5/5, it is well deserved just for the level design, even without some better story-telling.

The puzzles are almost too easy with so many in-game advices. The challenge lies in the choreography and if you're not a platformer junkie, you may get far out of your comfort zone. That said, *just keep trying!* You probably came for the *Best of 2019* quest. You will find frustration, anger and despair. If so, take a break. Return to it tomorrow. You'll improve, or at least, you come better rested and less frustrated. You might fail first day, beat it second day and speed run on day 3 with a top 100 score. At least that is my story, and I am sure I'm not very dexterous. Or maybe you have some health impairment and you just keep failing, losing this year's quest. I believe Greg would choose an easier badge if the game's author wasn't so lazy with Kong API. *3/5*

So, it is a 2D top-down game on a paper, then you press space and it turns into a platformer. Interesting game mechanic, that's for sure. The difficulty of last level was getting quite interesting. I wouldn't mind some more levels with difficulty increasing further, but I don't feel unsatisfied. This game deserves my 5/5.

Greg jokes you have to earn it within 30 years. Now I finished it and I feel like 10 years older. The game says 62 minutes 4 seconds, but do you expect me to believe that twisted thing? Well, at least I am no longer afraid I fail at Best of 2019 quest.

Wow. After finally beating the stairway of death (which I found a lot easier without fatigue and frustration), I finally progressed to the top left part. Where I found out that the author probably loves making players frustrated, because the longer without a checkpoint, the better, right?

Oh hell, this is "best of year". And the only badge there is, requires me to complete the game. Now, I'm a fairly intelligent person and I like puzzles. But the puzzles here are often doable with guesswork or looking at a walkthrough. The harder part is the platformer. The sound doesn't help at all, more like the opposite, so pressing the [M] key is almost a must. Especially since the constant sound of drums drives you crazy especially when you have to repeat some platformer sequence for the twentieth time. I wouldn't rate it at all if it wasn't among "best of year" and I could just easily quit it and say "f**k that". But it is, so ... 3/5 for the few parts I liked? Or maybe I revise it lower if I ragequit.

A well designed game made on a very simple concept. I think the difficulty is well adjusted for most of the population. At no point I felt bored by excessive repetitions. That said, I've just warmed up and the game is over. I'd love to see some harder levels, but I'm not sure if it is even possible with the concept of the game without making the board huge, enemies far more diverse or adding more complexity to the concept. That's why I rate it 4/5.

So, the hiscore no longer updates, a pity. It is full of cheaters, but at least I could compare myself to friends. For example Hydra. Easily doable under 100 seconds, potentially even in a bit above 2 seconds as long as you get Stimpak first round, get a megacrit and some effects (burn, poison, anything) to finish it off. With Stimpak you are faster than Hydra, so your effects apply on its first attack - after 2100 milliseconds. If the game rounds down, 2 is a possible score. But first 8 are clearly just filthy cheaters.

Stats button doesn't work for me and after choosing to continue rather than prestige, I'm unable to get back into the game. Looks like the game works in an older Firefox that I keep for Flash and Unity games, but it has some serious issues.

Another interesting logic game. I guess I have one more favorite game creator :) Oh, and nobody has marked this with Good Music yet? Well, I guess then I'm first :) A retro sound, fitting the pixelated graphics, plus it's pretty good music, too. The composers definitely deserve some praise, too.

A rather fun game. Figuring out some formation bonuses was definitely interesting and fun. But then there is also lots of routine - while there are some options for automation, it's fairly limited and the game gets fairly repetitive in a few days. And there is lots and lots of grinding. I ended up quitting in ~ 2 days. I still rate it 4/5, because it is one of the better games of this genre and at it doesn't promote the premium nearly as hard as many others.
