I like it more than the original Hat Wizard. More stuff to collect, more creative ways to kill the enemies ... and more, but I don't want to write spoilers.
Day 7: I found lots of resources. But accidentally I run into my home and couldn't resist going in. Day 8: The extra wood, food and everything else is gone. My survival is at stake, but I just wasted it for fun, yay!
Don't play this game and if you do, avoid Toxa temple as long as you can. And before you go in, back up your game files. There is some game killing bug in there, and it has happened to others as well. I enjoyed the game quite a bit, but I don't feel like starting over, and there is no older save to backtrack to.
Best ending: A) Lissara (+tend to patients) until 13 INT. B) Tavern until 15 CHA (+scrub floors). C) Chieftain (+delve deeper) until STR 17. D) Kira I guess (+scout). 1) Booze = +2 CHA, -10 morale. No booze = 10 morale 2) Save the fox, easy with full INT. 3) Use herbs. Actually shrooms with poisonous puff. 4) Be gentle. 5) Calm that guy down. 6) Treat the woman. 7) Do the heavy lifting. 8) Do some more heavy lifting. Done, 110 morale if not for the cap.
Maybe a full reset would be better than continuing as the game only remembers where I got red blops, but forgot all research and weapons. It only kept what I had as armed, but I didn't even own it anymore. This is a clear 1/5. A game like that should not even have badges, not even speaking about BotD.
I played it on Monday. It seemed like I was getting upgrades, but then it started showing problems connecting and stuff. Now I see I have half of the upgrades gone. Happy grinding!
I hope there will be some more detective games. I loved these, but I guess with the way the story line progresses it is not very likely. Anyway I really like the story and the universe of it.
The game just crashes for me after the tutorial and no badge is awarded. 2/5, because at least I liked the art and I think maybe this game is nice, when not encountering such bugs.
All too easy, hard achievement only for 123 ... Just joking, to be honest, this was quite a brain game. Great job at level design, some were really hard and tutorials were pretty self-descriptive.
If rockets like that existed, they would be good enough to win a war. Good thing they are only used to try hunt that weird white thing that is trying to escape. I mean, the acceleration is really insane.
For the campaign mode, rocket launchers are extremely useful. I got two and upgraded them quite early on, then I got plenty gunmen, too. Some repairmen and walls upgrades along the way to make sure I don't get surprised too much. Machine Gun is useful once Jeeps start appearing in larger numbers, Old Glory is useful once tanks start appearing in larger numbers. MG is useful to shoot the atomic truck as Old Glory takes a while to wind up. Woo-hoo, finally made it today after all these years. More than eight years since I got my first badge in this game.
Not bad, not at all. Though the music gets a bit aggressive at times, and its loop a bit too short. Of course some balancing of attacks will probably need to be done, and maybe some better descriptions so it's easier to understand what works against heavier type enemies, what against the lighter ones, etc.
One thing I hate about Arena is how pay2win it is. Buying Charles gives you so much extra. I don't mind paid advantages in PvE, but this is PvP even though not simultaneous. Lowering my rating to 2/5.
Its called Ice Labyrinth from RPG Maker MV's Sound Files.
