The zone entrance points in the snow area are very hard to see, i would recommend adding an outline to better distinguish their white glow over the white snow
Also when in a shop, hovering with the cursor shows an item's stats and my companion's currently equipped item, but not mine... In the inventory I can see both
It would be nice if the stats bonuses from items would be taken in consideration for item requirements. My warrior has 26 base STR, with +3 from items, and is unable to equip a sword that requires 28 STR
I died after meeting two spellcasters, got sent to the level entrance... then got hit by those same monster's spells from across the map through a dozen walls and died again... hmm
I wasn't a big fan of it either when I saw it in the original Shootorial... The part where shootDelimiter gets incremented every frame and set to zero when spacebar is pressed implies that the variable gets incremented unchecked forever as long as someone doesn't press spacebar... Which means it will eventually reach a value that the Number type cannot contain (an Overflow error). Ideally you could set the variable to 0 in the Ship() function, set it to 8 when spacebar is pressed (if the value is 0) and decrement it every frame if its value is not 0, thus stopping the overflow risk
A tip given in the later levels but that I wished I knew early on mentions that if you kill pretty much everything, you can get S rank with 2 hits or less, and A rank with 5 hits or less
The idea was good, graphics are nice... until you get into a battle. The artwork quality goes down the drain, and the gameplay in those battles is extremely tedious and requires no skill whatsoever...
I've been attempting to enjoy this game, but I just can't. There's way too many irritants that makes something that could be enjoyable a living hell. Pets die too easily, and no way to raise them. Grinding for hours to get a new one every time sucks. The environments have way too many tight areas that causes the pathfinding to send characters across the whole level, aggroing everything. Not being able to see half of what's happening because of the millions of trees in the way. No quick keys to heal pets or your own characters. No way to stand on top of treasure or your pet in battle which causes blockades that often leads to a pet dying. No clear indication of where to change zones. Monsters standing just besides the edge of a zone, aggroing you the second you enter. Seriously, was it meant to be this frustrating?
Not a big fan of having to reinvest in upgrades when the previous upgrade was bought. For example, if I buy the 40 pts "Initial money" upgrade, it would make more sense to pay the remaining 40 for the 80 pts one, rather than have to spend a full 80 on top of the 40 already spent
Working on this
