Hard to decide whether to keep pushing forward or prestige. Might be nice to have an indication that would help the calculation. Fun game, really enjoying this take on incrementals!
Some gameplay tips: Doing a flip recharges your turbo, necessary to win the dream car race; You don't need to win a level to keep your dream car parts, so do those races twice, once to win and once to gather parts; finding dream car parts usually requires backing up on the ground after you go over a bridge; run the early races more than once to get upgrades quicker; speed > health.
An enjoyable game. I stumbled on it and didn't plan to stay, but ended up playing through to end. The levels are just hard enough to be challenging, but so difficult to be out of reach. The upgradeability was well balanced. The AI was fun, and the car control was great. The music was terrible, and there were occasionally some frustrations with destroyed cars getting in the way, but overall a great game.
Memory leak causes progressively slower gameplay, making it good for only a few levels before a reset is needed. Typically fun game, and I really enjoy the series, but this one needs a tweak to make it playable.
The good: concept is great, the costumes are funny, and it has an addictive upgradeable quality to it. The bad: it is glitchy, has a memory leak (still after dev fix attempt), and the playability is off. I had this as a five initially, moved it to a four, and now a hour or so in am dropping it again. Kitties get stuck on different levels, it bogs down, then comes back at unplayable double speed, has portions that don't make sense from gameplay standpoint, etc. What it has in concept, it lacks in quality control and playability. Too bad, it has so much potential.
For hard badge, extra stars fairly easy on levels 1:3,6,8,9,10,12,20 and levels 2: 3,4,8,12,13. If you get these, you don't need to worry about a 3 star score on 2:1, which is pretty tough.
I like that you can't just blast through with gas on and need to balance the truck. Subtle forward and back balance and delicate feel is a nice change from usual race games. A bit more power, combined with a bit heavier feel would make it feel more realistic, though. Would also like some other types of obstacles and, my Achilles heel, upgrades on the truck.
Reminds me of a hand held analog game I had in the 80's with a scrolling plastic screen on a treadmill underneath a plastic car that you could move right and left to try to keep on the road. Not sure that is a good thing. Could use improvements in sounds during race, ability to move forward and backward and some better variation in tracks.
Upgradeable cars, ability to escape to menu during race if you want to restart or get stuck, sound controls/mute, choice of cars, variability in track or game play, challenge with other cars, etc. all needed to make this a playable game. Controls, even on easy mode, not very easy to use. Like the idea of rally game with handbrake controls, but just couldn't play more than about 5 minutes before losing interest.
Yellow is too hard to read, even at larger sizes. Better to pick another color for future versions. Also sometimes hard to deselect. But otherwise, very engaging solitaire game. Enjoyed completing full game. Thanks!
On level 15, I hit a bug. Drew a big triangle/ramp up into the menu/reset/music zone and the wood didn't drop. Also couldn't select menu or reset. Outside links to notdoppler and the walkthrough worked, but that was it. Needed to reset the browser. All else was great. Enjoyed the first three, and this was best of the bunch. Much more room for creativity and fun. Really enjoyable. Thanks!
lolol at Adam 2.8. Fun game. Some of the puzzles don't give you enough logically to solve - there can be multiple solutions given what you can deduce. That makes a hint function key, and use of grayout of lines (which only happens when the line is solved, and not when the conditions are met but not correctly) isn't an efficient way to do this. Better math on the puzzles, making them possible to solve without clues but still difficult (there are some fairly advanced tricks I'm sure most don't use) or a limited number of clue requests giving key squares allowing deduction, is needed.
The ESC button opens the menu for sound and restart. I will try to change parameters in case of low difficulty.
