Is stuck on the 100% loaded screen on a Windows 7 machine with IE and Firefox, similar to Castaways TD. Please fix or tell me what to upgrade (java or flash?).
Will create a new game on Windows 7 machines, but won't load the saved game. Applies to current IE and Firefox, neither browser will get beyond the load game screen or create game, although a game created will autosave with 0% progress. Please fix ASAP - it's a fun game, even if a little easy, on XP systems.
Day 233 I go bankrupt right after adding a tailor to my sorc/carp. For the next 4 days I go bankrupt repeatedly, only allowed to hire a tailor/sorc in that order. A 50 PERCENT Fire Sale would be far more reasonable than the current Fire Sale which equals 500 gold, as well as more choice in who is available for hire immediately.
Unlockable achievements/customization of the monster would be fabulous. Nice variation on a catapult puzzler as is, but needs some tweaking. Definitely include a level editor. Improve damage to buildings from other buildings, make combo points more noticeable. I DO NOT have a problem with scoring based solely on the clock instead of per fireball or some combination of both aspects, although including a per fireball option in a level editor or including SOME levels that are reliant on that strategic aspect would add more variety. If you did that for EVERY level you'd have a number of games that already exist with different graphics. :) You don't want that, although referring to those games isn't off limits.
Needs a great deal of thought towards the level design and gameplay elements. The gold doesn't improve. Poison towers seem to miss early on. There are no hover-over information boxes on the enemy or the towers. There is no way to set targeting. There is no speed-up option. The first map is cluttered with paths, and I found myself too bored to continue. The graphics are passable, but it is barely a tower defense game, and it is dull in comparison to variations the offer more. 2/5 for now, but would love to see this be a 5/5 with changes to the gameplay, level design, and minor changes in concepts. For example, PEOPLE LIKE TO WIN, and if you can provide both a thoughtful series of challenges, AND the means to win without much trial and error, your game will be a 5/5.
This is conceptually interesting as an antique. However, it may be slightly TOO faithful of a reproduction, which would explain the rarity of the original game. ;)
graphics 3/5, perhaps adding a rotating field ability would enhance the game slightly? gameplay 2/5, just plain DULL, a click and drag action game with little to no thought or strategy required.
4/5 for graphics, but found them to be a little too dark, probably to cut down on the details. 3/5 for gameplay. Needs more levels. Found a bug in the cheapest tower: with two of the level upgrades on the furthermost left and all three of the Malice upgrades, the firing beam visually froze and would not activate. 3/5 overall for now.
