After the present set of updates, the amount of grinding required to level up on a new machine or one which has had the cookies deleted is unrewarding, particularly in comparison to older versions.
It IS a "very different tower defense game" - the sort that is an automatic FAIL. Graphics could use some work, gameplay needs to FUNCTION. 1/5 until significant repairs are made.
I have no idea how to "conquer" other civs. Their graphics/buildings seem identical to my own. Does this vary with different contracts?
I concur with the feedback that has preceded my own comments, and I am most frustrated with not being able to deselect a building/structure and see the 'delete' button at the bottom of the screen after something has been upgraded to level 5.
Want MORE feedback? Solid 3/5 for what you have now. FINISH IT! *whipcrack* I want to PLAY! *whipcrack* Good job so far! Now get back to work! *whipcrack*
4/5 I like the graphics. Good programming. NEEDS FAR MORE INFORMATION AND TWEAKS, though, before it can be a Pay-to-play game. One can not enjoy playing most strategy/defense games without the information to plan ahead, as so many others have mentioned before me. This also needs; a cancel placement feature, a send-next-wave button, speed up waves option. 4/5 for what is here so far. I look forward to the minor adjustments.
10/5 for penultimate parody points - although I DO object to pathetic "dress up" games aimed at girls, just as I, as a ten year old girl, objected to Nancy Drew having to change into "practical" clothes in order to get Ned/Daddy/Police Chief to confront the bad guys. The Sims are superior in psychological satisfaction when it comes to "dress up" games. :)
1) Upgrades/skills are incredibly expensive considering you have to PAY for all but the first map.
2) The first three maps aren't particularly challenging or interesting once you figure out that upgrading will effect damage slightly and range a great deal so you need many towers on a consistent basis. This doesn't offer a great deal of variety, so why should people "grind" for the gold to be able to afford even ONE upgrade or skill?
3) No save feature or autosave feature?
5/5 for humor, for implementation. If you do not understand this well executed parody as both a work of mixed media art AND as a game, then you probably do not have enough experience playing RPGs. + this comment please so the young ones or those raised in caves will be encouraged to PLAY MORE RPGs to acquire the understanding!
1/5 for the facebook solutions, and I AM a member of facebook, I just don't 'join' anyone or anything. Would be a solid 5/5 with solutions provided more appropriately.
I am having difficulty with lvl 14. If I take the large star near the center, I can not longer target the star to its northwest. The map seems more difficult in part because it is harder to select the planets or stars I WANT to send energy to a target without apparently dragging others into the mix. Sometimes, my mouse cursor doesn't appear close at all, and yet the celestial body I haven't chosen willingly sends energy anyways.
Best use of this TD engine I have seen so far! :) The map is slightly confusing at first, especially since we don't know the ranges of upgraded towers in advance, but the lack of information doesn't ruin the experience. The monsters are beatable. Good job!
How many elephant ass kissing brown nosers can you fit into 'Comments'? Depends on the defense budget, and whether or not any Dem administration would be interested in busting Adobe for making software used to create kiddy porn.
Nice start! Needs: More of a variety of towers and weapons, more information on everything - towers, main base and enemies, a button to call next waves, possibly with a money bonus for calling in waves early,
