It's 2010. We no longer have tricycles with flat tires (original Pentiums as de-engineered in the '80s), nor kiddy tricycles with hard rubber wheels and no shocks (Pentium 2s), not even tricked out tricycles with fancy streamers attached to the handlebar grips (Pentium 2 with separate math co-processor)! Gee, can we get some decent AI for squad based RTS here? :) I still want a hover bike that will fit in my lap and has a clock speed over 4.0 Ghz.
Played through level 25. Repeated every level until I achieved perfection. Got to Monster Mode. Enjoyed all three levels of Monster Mode, which are comparatively innovative for the genre. The sequel to this game, AND Ghost Hacker: Monster Mode Madness are being released when?
Allowing timer stoppers/bombs to reach the top should NOT end the game. Needs a little work conceptually before it can be touted as a wonderful learning tool, but not much.
Fairly difficult puzzle game compared to most. 4/5, mainly because of a reliance on "fail, restart" due to lack of initial information at the start of a level.
1/5 because it doesn't crash the browser or adobe flash. Is there anything here worth critiquing? Flash satires of Windows already exist and the ones I've seen are better executed (figuratively) than this one, which should be executed (literally).
Needs to provoke thought, stimulate the brain in positive ways, NOT cause injuries due to repetitive motion, and credit the folks responsible for the artwork. 1/5 because it doesn't break the browser, corrupt operating systems, and exists. Congrats.
Too many ways to lose, to few to win. 'Easy' isn't easy at the start given all the options, all the "wrong" choices available. There is no way to level up when you aren't strong enough for a map, no way to recover from mistakes. This makes the game UN-FUN grinding. Whoever modeled it similarly to right and wrong career choices when working for one company needs a vacation, needs a serious boost to their serotonin levels, needs to rediscover "fun" instead of snide sarcasm.
5/5 so far, but I haven't gotten to a mini-game yet and could not finish EBF2 because the mini-game was action oriented and I have physical disabilities. I've HEARD rumor that this game has various mini-games to chose from. A suggestion: Visible indicators of HP/MP on the move around in the world screen.
I find I am appreciating this version less than the original. There are fewer levels, most of which are LESS enjoyable because we can NOT create MEGA Towers at all. How about 15-20 wave levels of tougher enemies on comparatively open maps, so we can appreciate all these various towers and unleash our own creativity?
