And the reason missiles are great, is because the range and damage. You can easily kill motherships before they even get within range to send out their swarmers. And costing money to fire them means never having a big cluster of them cease firing due to energy depletion.
This game wasn't all that hard, because it doesn't take fast paced precision timing so much as a bit of strategy. If you have trouble, try checking the forums. I posted some screenshots with explanations back when I got these badges, and some people have made videos since then.
The second ending doesn't require any elaborate instructions or precise timing. Just shoot your second spike at any time while jumping left or right to throw off your symmetry. Then you can easily move so that he falls.
It's funny how 2 of the top rated comments are pointing out anagrams like it's some genius secret. The last level is called "deception" and at the end, the name rifles through a series of anagrams, ending with "poetic end."
Well I see the game is still broken. Last time I played, and just now, the game randomly messes up and goes to build screen in the middle of a wave. Mobs keep coming and attacking, but only have the options to build. No sword cursor or spells.
Well the game was entertaining. The closer you get to the end, right up until the end, it gets more messed up. But then, the final words. Yeah, it made me think...about how this game is less of an interesting thriller, and more of an exaggerated bible story. Where's Kirk Cameron?
I really like the game overall, but the aiming needs a good adjustment. A lot of times I'd move the angle slider one tick and hit the same spot 3 or 4 times, then move it 2 ticks, and it hit a good inch and a half above or below. In other words it doesn't seem to register extremely small adjustments much of the time. Makes it very difficult when you just barely miss, or need to just barely adjust for the next target.
Yeah, there is a reset button, but that doesn't exactly fix the problem. It resets the level same as a page refresh. Agree needs cat kill. Had to play lvl 13 3 or 4 times to get thru, lol.
Needs separate action buttons or no active selection on level-up pop-up. Twice now I've been fighting 2 mobs, one dies, and next thing I know I've upgraded magic accidentally.
1/5 for being lame. Not only has gravity shift been done, but it's been done better. Not having locks, switches, or any extra dynamic just makes you lazier and the game weaker. Only 8 levels of equally laze and cheap graphics, and you want money for it? Really?
I had a bug too after being afk for a little bit. I started the wave, the screen flashed back to tower build mode, with the begin wave button and no sword, yet monsters kept coming anyway.
The one additional thing they should've taken from gemcraft but didn't, is that your score is total of the highest from each level. You can just play level 1 over and over again accumulating.
The best description is nanowars + gemcraft + easymode. Gameplay is mostly nanowars with new graphics, plus spells. The upgrade system and level complete screens are very gemcraft.
